Wallpaper* Editors' May 2026 Highlights: Venice Biennale, Ashmolean's 'In Bloom', and Almodóvar Retrospective

Wallpaper* magazine's editors have curated a list of must-see events for May 2026, spanning art, architecture, food, and film. The Venice Art Biennale opens to the public on 9 May, with collateral events in historic palazzos and Hernan Bas's exhibition 'The Visitors' at Ca' Pesaro. In Oxford, the Ashmolean Museum presents 'In Bloom', an exhibition exploring flowers' influence on trade, science, and exploration, designed by London-based architect DaeWha Kang, who reused 85 percent of showcases from a previous show and used low-impact materials.
