Wallace & Gromit return after 10 years with new film 'Vengeance Most Fowl'

other · 2026-04-26

Aardman Animations has announced that the beloved stop-motion duo Wallace & Gromit will return in a new feature-length film titled 'Vengeance Most Fowl,' set to premiere on BBC in the UK before streaming globally on Netflix in winter 2024. The 70-minute film marks the first full-length Wallace & Gromit movie since 2005's Oscar-winning 'The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.' Creator Nick Park revealed that the plot involves Gromit's concern over Wallace's dependence on his inventions, particularly a 'smart gnome' that develops a malicious mind. The film also brings back the iconic villain Feathers McGraw, the penguin antagonist from the 1993 short 'The Wrong Trousers,' who will be involved with the gnomes. Park stated he had the idea for evil garden gnomes for over a decade but only found the narrative hook by connecting it to Feathers McGraw. The announcement comes two years after the project was first revealed.
