Vuslat's 'Emanet' Solo Exhibition at MSGSU Tophane-i Amire
Vuslat's solo exhibition 'Emanet,' curated by Ebru Yetiskin, opens at MSGSU Tophane-i Amire Cultural and Art Center's Five Domes Hall from May 22 to July 30, 2024. The show explores the concept of 'emanet'—trust, loyalty, care, fidelity, and guardianship—through sculptures, paintings, poems, sound works, and installations. Previously held at Baksı Museum, the exhibition is reimagined as a narrative landscape and polyphonic memory recording. Collaborative pieces include 'Embrace' with Pelda Aytas, examining the word's equivalents in nine languages, and audio content with Alican Okan. Vuslat's work 'Bayburt I' (2023) uses charcoal and natural pigments from local earth. Open daily except Mondays, 10:00-17:00.
