Viva Arte Viva: Christine Macel's Biennale Arte 2017 Emphasizes Play and Craft

The 57th Venice Biennale, named "Viva Arte Viva" and overseen by curator Christine Macel, debuted in 2017 at the Giardini and Arsenale. Macel's vision highlights art as a means of contemplation in the face of worldwide turmoil, structured into nine Trans-Pavilions.
