Virtual tour of three historic Venetian theaters launched by Teatro Stabile Veneto
Teatro Stabile Veneto has introduced an engaging virtual tour of its three historic venues: the Verdi in Padua, the Goldoni in Venice, and the Mario Del Monaco in Treviso. This online experience merges interactive 3D exploration with video elements, enabling users to navigate auditoriums, dressing rooms, costume workshops, and backstage areas. Gaspare Del Vecchio, an alumnus of the Carlo Goldoni Theater Academy, acts as the virtual host, sharing captivating historical stories. Established in 1751 by seventy nobles for opera, the Verdi Theater features a ceiling fresco by Giuliano Tommasi, created post-1917 bombing, illustrating the triumph of arts over war, inscribed with "Post fata artium auspicio resurgo." The tour's rollout began with the Goldoni Theater on April 2, with the Mario Del Monaco set to launch at the end of April.
