Virtual exhibition '50 Duetos' marks 50 years of Fundação Edson Queiroz with over 100 works

Curated by Denise Mattar, this virtual showcase on the Universidade de Fortaleza website includes over 100 pieces from the foundation's collection, featuring renowned artists like Salvador Dalí, Xico Stockinger, and Adriana Varejão. Notable contributors also include Antonio Bandeira, Anita Malfatti, and Tarsila do Amaral, among others. The exhibition, which highlights visual connections and thematic contrasts, is accessible online until December 23 due to the pandemic, with intentions for a physical opening. Lenise Queiroz, the foundation's president, regards the exhibit as a means to liberate art history from conventional constraints.
