Viperpod Kickstarter Tripod Hangs from Railings and Doorways

Silence Corner has launched Viperpod, a Kickstarter tripod that replaces ground-standing with a built-in hook system and external flip center column, allowing mounting on railings, doorways, and branches. The carbon fiber tripod supports up to 17.6 pounds and comes in standard and light variants. The standard model weighs 2.55 pounds, folds to 17.7 inches, and reaches 61.8 inches. The light version holds 13.2 pounds. Both feature an Arca-Swiss-compatible head with a ball head on a panning base; the flip column doubles as a pan/tilt handle. The campaign has nearly tripled its $10,000 goal with 79 backers. Early bird pricing starts at $279 for the light model and $309 for the standard, with shipping expected in September 2026.
