Vino Vero Takes Over Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana Dining

Vino Vero, a Venice-based natural wine bar known for creative cicchetti, has taken over the Mezzanine Bistrot at Palazzo Grassi, opening March 12, 2023. The team, led by chef Lorenzo Barbasetti di Prun, will also manage the café-bookshop at Punta della Dogana starting April 2023. The bistrot features a natural wine list curated by sommeliers Stella Croci, Camille Delia, and Valeria Lozito, and was designed with Lightbox and lifestyle stylist Sergio Colantuoni. This permanent dining operation complements the Pinault Collection's existing gastronomic collaboration with Michel and Sebastien Bras at Bourse de Commerce in Paris. Vino Vero's expansion into the Pinault venues follows their 2022 pop-up at the Venice Biennale's Navy Officer's Club, facilitated by Lightbox. Additionally, Vino Vero has launched Vetrina, a bimonthly art window at their Fondamenta della Misericordia location, currently featuring Fabio Roncato's Landscape curated by Mara Sartore until April 2, 2023. Previous artists include Lupo Borgonovo, Lilla Tabasso, and Ignazio Mortellaro.
