Vincenzo Marsiglia's 'Dopo-Logica/o' at Palazzo Ducale, Sabbioneta
At the Palazzo Ducale in Sabbioneta, Vincenzo Marsiglia (born 1972 in Belvedere Marittimo) presents 'Dopo-Logica/o', an exhibition curated by Matteo Galbiati. After studying the palace's spaces, decorations, and historical context, Marsiglia selected fifteen works from his production, placing them sparingly among the rooms to let the venue prevail. His works are based on observation and study of reality, leading to the creation of the 'Unità Marsiglia', a four-pointed star used for scientific mapping of visible surfaces. Through painting, sculpture, and technology, he constructs alternative dimensions where objects, people, faces, and architectures are constantly altered. The exhibition runs until July 10, 2016, at Palazzo Ducale, Piazza Ducale 2, Sabbioneta. A catalog is published by Vanilla.
