Vincent Munier's wildlife photography featured in RSF's new album
Reporters sans frontières (RSF) has released its 82nd album, titled "Forêts," in the "100 photos pour la liberté de la presse" collection, celebrating the work of French wildlife photographer Vincent Munier. The album, available from June 4, 2026, features 100 photographs spanning Munier's career, including images of Tengmalm's owls, red deer, Bengal tigers, Manchurian cranes, red squirrels, and winter wrens, captured across locations from Bhutan to Norway, Cambodia, and the Vosges forests. Munier, born in 1976, has been active for over 30 years and is a three-time winner of the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year (2000, 2001, 2002). His 2025 documentary filmed in the Vosges won two César Awards for Best Documentary and Best Sound. The album follows a previous RSF volume on Munier from 2018. All proceeds support RSF's global press freedom advocacy. An exhibition dedicated to Munier is scheduled for summer 2026 at the Photo La Gacilly festival.
