Vincent Corpet's Retrospective Finale at Château de Jau

The third and final installment of Vincent Corpet's retrospective, titled "Fatras III, le sauvage," is on view at Château de Jau in Cases-de-Pêne until September 30, 2023. The exhibition is a thematic rather than chronological survey, curated by Sabine Dauré, who has been a pioneer in hosting contemporary art at the vineyard since the 1970s. A film by Reine Graves accompanies the show, featuring Corpet paying homage to Dauré's groundbreaking work. Previous exhibitions at Château de Jau have featured artists such as César, Arman, Malcom Morley, Antoni Tàpies, Shirley Jaffe, and Gérard Gasiorowski. In 1995, Dauré presented Corpet's "Nus" series. This retrospective marks the end of Dauré's programming at the estate.
