Vin Vin Gallery: From Vienna to miart and Beyond

exhibition · 2026-05-04

Vincenzo della Corte, a former violinist turned gallerist, founded Vin Vin Gallery in Vienna in 2016. After winning the LCA Emergent prize at miart 2019 with a solo show by Danish artist Saskia Te Nicklin, he relocated the gallery to a larger space at Hintzerstrasse 4. The new venue opened with a solo exhibition by New York-based Myles Starr, titled 'The Name of the Rose,' featuring figurative paintings with autobiographical undertones and literary titles. The show runs until May 25, 2019. Up next is a solo exhibition by Swiss artist Thomas Liu Le Lann, 'I'm non okay,' opening May 31, 2019. Le Lann, a 25-year-old multidisciplinary artist, recently won the New Heads prize from the BNP Paribas Foundation, earning a solo show at the Musée des Beaux-Arts Le Locle. His work challenges masculinity and emphasizes meekness and passivity.
