Villa Sanquirico in Turin Transforms into Artist-Designed Chicken Coop Exhibition

exhibition · 2026-04-27

"NEW EGG," an exhibition featuring 20 artist-designed chicken coops, will take place at Villa Sanquirico in Turin from November 2 to 5. Curated by Nicolas Ballario, this showcase includes contributions from egg producer Paolo Parisi and is the brainchild of Vedovamazzei (Stella Scala and Simeone Crispino). The project, which introduces the new brand OFF, was developed by Giannoni & Santoni, who recently launched a showroom in Pietrasanta. Each coop boasts a wooden exterior adorned with humorous messages addressing topics such as housing and emigration. One coop is finished in gold, while another displays quotes from philosophers Heraclitus, Plato, and Aristotle. CEO Antonio Giannoni emphasizes that the OFF initiative seeks to intertwine art with nature, advocating for animal welfare and opposing intensive farming.
