Villa Panza restores original display of Giuseppe Panza collection
Villa Panza in Varese has restored its art collection as originally intended by its founder, Giuseppe Panza di Biumo, marking the first full exhibition since 2013. Among the highlights is the Sala Spalletti gallery, showcasing seven pieces by Ettore Spalletti. The initial room presents Rosa Verticale (1991), Tutto Tondo (1989), and cone-shaped Vaso works (1988, 1992). In the subsequent room, visitors can see Ali Grigio Neutro (1988), a white Sivec marble Vaso (1989), and Acquasantiera (1986). Above the fireplace hangs Stuart Arends' Wax n. 38 (1991). The south wing features creations by Phil Sims, Winston Roeth, Ruth Ann Fredenthal, and Ford Beckman. Additionally, the Castello di Rivoli has received a donation from the Fondazione Marco Rivetti, which includes works by prominent artists.
