Villa Panza Reopens with Original Exhibition Design by Giuseppe Panza
Villa Panza in Varese has reopened its doors on February 21 with a brand-new exhibition titled "Villa Panza: un’idea assoluta." This showcase honors the artistic vision of Count Giuseppe Panza di Biumo, who bequeathed the villa to the Fondo Ambiente Italiano in 1996. A renowned art collector born in Milan in 1923, Panza began his journey in 1955. Together with his wife, he curated around 2,500 artworks, emphasizing Minimalist, Conceptual, and Environmental art. The exhibition immerses guests in Panza’s unique fusion of art, architecture, and spirituality, reflecting significant pieces from his esteemed collection now held in various institutions.
