Vigilante Unveils Spartan Scrambler Restomod Jeep
Texas-based Vigilante 4x4 has introduced the Scrambler, a utilitarian restomod of the original civilian Jeep model. The nut-and-bolt restoration features an all-new chassis, improved suspension and steering, and a 485-horsepower 392 crate HEMI V8 engine. Designed for off-road use, the open-topped vehicle offers a stripped-down, lightweight body with modern climate control and media connectivity concealed in a back-to-basics dashboard. Customers can choose between an automatic or five-speed manual gearbox. Founder Daniel van Doveren describes the Scrambler as a utility player for collectors, offering a raw driving experience complementing the more luxurious Wagoneer. Pricing starts at $260,000.
