Vienna Art Week 2017 Explores Art and Technology
The 2017 Vienna Art Week will take place from November 13 to 19, featuring over 200 events across the Austrian capital. The theme is 'Transforming Technology,' examining how new technologies impact art. Artistic director Robert Punkenhofer stated that art can measure and critically reflect on technological developments. On November 15, the Alternative Space Open House tour will showcase Vienna's emerging art scene. November 18 features Open Studio, opening 50 artist studios to the public.
