Viefe Interior Awards 2026: Casa del Til·ler and SPIRIT win

Spanish firm Viefe announced winners of the 9th Viefe Interior Awards, an international competition for architects and interior designers that highlights architectural hardware's role in contemporary interior architecture. The 2026 edition featured two categories: photography and render. The jury included Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider (KASCHKASCH founders), trend researcher Pepa Casado, architect and Diariodesign director Juan Francisco Fuentes Lojo, AD Estudio CEO Andoni Díaz, and Viefe Studio. In the photography category, Lacabanya Design won for Casa del Til·ler, a comprehensive rehabilitation of a terraced house in Manlleu, Barcelona, organized around a pre-existing linden tree that articulates natural light and interior-exterior relations. The project uses natural materials and a warm palette, integrating Viefe's Hinoki wood big handle in the kitchen. In the render category, designer Andrei Koshaleu won for SPIRIT, a minimalist wabi-sabi bathroom rendered with stone, wood, and natural textures. The project integrates Viefe's Piece hangers in a braille-inspired graphic composition spelling 'SPIRIT', and uses the Equis knob on lower furniture. The jury praised material sensitivity, conceptual quality, and natural integration of Viefe products.
