festival-fair · 2026-04-23

From November 23 to December 2, 2010, the fifth edition of VideoZone, a video art biennial founded by Sergio Edelsztein, was held in Tel Aviv. The Herzliya Museum showcased an exhibition featuring the Centre Pompidou's new media collection, curated by Christine Van Assche and Ghila Limon. Approximately twenty programs highlighted artistic scenes from Israel, Ukraine, Spain, and Brazil. Among the prominent pieces were Ben Hagari's 'Invert', Yaël Bartana's 'Entartete Kunst Lebt', and Dor Guez's 'Watermelons Under the Bed'. EAI and LUX contributed both historical and contemporary programs. The festival emphasized the vanishing television screen, showcasing works by Chris Burden and Martha Rosler, while Adrian Paci's 'Electric Blue' and Francesco Jodice's 'Dubai Citytellers' tackled contemporary themes.
