Video Sound Art Festival’s 10th Edition Takes Over Milan’s Historic Pools
The 10th Video Sound Art Festival, under the curation of Laura Lamonea, takes place from September to November 2020 at Piscina Romano and Piscina Cozzi in Milan. Entitled 'The Reflecting Pool,' the festival examines the connection between humanity and the environment, using water as a motif for initiation. The event is divided into three segments: the first, running from September 16 to October 1, features a solo exhibition by Chilean artist Enrique Ramirez. The second segment, from October 16 to November 16, highlights Italian artist Giulio Frigo alongside a live performance by Sentieri Selvaggi. The final segment, from November 23 to December 3, will display works from the 2020 open call for emerging artists, with submissions accepted until September 30. Supported by Fondazione Cariplo, Regione Lombardia, and others, the festival underscores the versatility of art in unique settings.
