Video series on performance art launched by M.Arte in Ottaviano
A series of ten educational videos on contemporary art has been produced by architect Marco Capasso of Capware Lab as part of M.Arte – Mediateca d’arte, one of 31 projects funded nationally by the Direzione Generale Arte e Architettura Contemporanee e Periferie Urbane of MiBACT, directed by Federica Galloni, under the program “Scuola: Spazio aperto alla Cultura”. The multimedia educational path is set up in the 17th-century cloister of the Istituto Comprensivo “D’Aosta” in Ottaviano (Naples) and aims to introduce students to the conceptual and provocative beauty of 20th-century art while exploring how digital tools can communicate artistic heritage. The ninth installment focuses on Performance art, described as one of the most powerful contemporary art forms, blending dance, theater, and poetry in often provocative ways, where the artist's body and actions become the artwork.
