Video by Boetti's assistant Salman Alì released for artist's 80th birthday

On December 16, 2020, the 80th birthday of Alighiero Boetti (1940–1994), Milan gallery Le Case d'Arte published a video tribute featuring his assistant and friend Salman Alì. The video, titled 'Kabul-Roma Roma-Kabul,' was directed by Giulia Currà for Traslochi Emotivi and produced by Le Case d'Arte, which hosted the 2010 exhibition 'Kabul-Roma / carpets by Salman' (video by Giulia Currà, text by Mariuccia Casadio). In 2012, the video was also shown in London at Spruth-Magers during the exhibition 'Alighiero Boetti' curated by Pasquale Leccese. The video is available on the gallery's Instagram IGTV channel.
