Viasaterna's Casino Palermo Residency at Manifesta 12
The Viasaterna gallery in Milan has officially unveiled Casino Palermo, a vibrant initiative under the Manifesta 12 umbrella, located in a historic building on Via Alloro 129 in Palermo's Kalsa district. Running from June 4 to July 29, 2018, this project merges exhibitions with artist residencies in a dedicated creative space. Over the course of eight weeks, eight selected artists, including Olì Bonzanigo, Alessandro Calabrese, and Takashi Homma, will each dedicate a week to developing new pieces. Highlighting the event is a video showcasing Teresa Giannico's innovative work, which transforms the apartment into a captivating diorama of blended realities.
