Viafarini-in-residence Open Studio 2016 in Milan

The 2016 edition of Viafarini-in-residence's Open Studio in Milan runs until December 23, showcasing works by five artists. Pamela Breda (b. 1982, Vittorio Veneto) presents perspective-altering paintings that transform landscapes into psychic iconographies. Simona Da Pozzo (b. 1977, Caracas) exhibits Orbital View, a project on the International Space Station's water supply; Relé, a participatory photographic mapping performance with light crests; and Glocary (since 2011), exploring language as invention. In the main hall, Francesco Maluta (b. 1983, Lovere) displays oil-on-canvas works of various sizes. Letizia Scarpello (b. 1989, Pescara, lives in Milan) and Rada Koželj (b. 1988, Lecco) intertwine their projects with solid volumes in balance and broken neon. Giulio Scalisi (b. 1992) presents A Walk Through the Birch Tree Forest (2016), a walkable tubular installation of three cubic meters.
