Via Romilli in Milan becomes a new contemporary art district
A new contemporary art hub has developed on Via Arcivescovo Romilli in Milan's Corvetto district. In 2015, Fondazione Prada began its exploration of the area, which is close to the upcoming Olympic Village for Milano Cortina 2026. Among the new establishments is Fondazione Galleria Milano, set to open on March 18, 2024, at Via Romilli 7, featuring an exhibition on Alexander and Sasha Brodsky until June 8, 2024. Additionally, MXM Arte launched at Via Romilli 5 in November 2023, with "Atto III. Altri Luoghi" debuting on March 18 and running until April 16, 2024. The itinerant space velò opened on March 14 at Via Romilli 20, showcasing "Bamboo Dragonfly" until April 14, 2024. Other cultural entities in the area include Enea, Spazio DiLà, Fondazione ICA Milano, galleria ZERO…, alongside various artist studios and bookstores.
