Verdena to Perform at TOdays Festival, Release Seventh Album 'Volevo Magia'

Italian rock band Verdena, formed in 1999 in Albino, Bergamo, released their seventh album 'Volevo Magia' in September 2022. The band, known for their reserved lifestyle and avoidance of media attention, consists of Roberta Sammarelli, Alberto Ferrari, and Luca Ferrari. They will perform on August 26 at the ninth edition of the TOdays festival in Turin, a festival dedicated to avant-garde music. The album title references childhood and unfulfilled desires, described by the band as a cry for help. They emphasize spontaneity and experimentation in their creative process, often spending a week on lyrics and a week on music. The band also released a docufilm 'X sempre assenti'. Their visual identity, including album art and videos, frequently changes, with recent videos directed by Francesco Fei, Alex Infascelli, and Donato Sansone.
