festival-fair · 2026-04-27

In October 2023, the Fondazione Bassiri in Fabro held the second installment of 'Venti di ottobre,' a multidisciplinary arts program led by Aldo Iori. This event encompassed a variety of activities, including concerts, presentations, readings, and roundtable discussions centered around artist Bizhan Bassiri's inquiry: 'How would the world continue to exist without reflecting in our eyes?'. It commenced with a visit to the Caveau, highlighting Bassiri's 'Tapesh – La riserva aurea del pensiero magmatico' (2017) alongside works from Francesco Antonioni, Shlomo Harush, Remo Salvadori, Sean Shanahan, and Renato Ranaldi. The exhibition 'Michelangelo nello sguardo di Amendola' featured photographs by Aurelio Amendola. Concerts included performances by Marcello Panni and others, while a roundtable moderated by Bruno Corà included Bassiri and experts. The foundation was founded in 2020 by Bassiri and Camilla Cioni Visani.
