Ventana Fine Art Presents Two-Artist Exhibition of Cassidy Watt and Javier Barbosa

Cassidy Watt presents 'Remnant Totems,' which are mixed-media sculptures crafted from individually patinated copper and brass rectangles affixed to Baltic birch. By managing the oxidation process, Watt achieves unique patterns and colors, sealing them with marine varnish for durability. The totems can be arranged in various configurations, from pairs to extensive wall displays. Javier Barbosa’s intricate paintings delve into color, texture, and surface, characterized by abstract forms and vibrant brushstrokes. Noteworthy works include 'Unfolding Stiffness' (36" x 36", mixed media, $5,600) and 'Drifting Toward Now' (48" x 60", mixed media, $12,500). This exhibition celebrates Ventana Fine Art's 44th year and its 31st on Canyon Road, showcasing over 200 artists and 26,000 artworks, with 17,000 sold to collectors worldwide, including the U.S., England, Germany, France, Switzerland, Canada, Mexico, and India.
