Venice Map Fair 2025: First Edition Dedicated to Cartographic Art
The inaugural Venice Map Fair is set to take place from March 21 to 23, 2025, at Palazzo Pisani-Revedin, located close to the Rialto Bridge. This event, spearheaded by Samuel Baghdassarian and Ermanno Bertelli, celebrates Venice's rich heritage in cartography and printing, presenting a collection of antique maps, engravings, and historical travel literature spanning the 15th to 20th centuries. The fair features notable merchant-cartographers from around the globe, alongside modern pieces by Maurizio D’Agostini. Participating exhibitors include Altea Gallery, Interamnia, Ars Cartografica, Barry Lawrence Ruderman, Eosphoros, and others hailing from Italy, the UK, Germany, the US, France, Switzerland, Portugal, Cyprus, and Belgium.
