Venice conference explores failure as creative catalyst
On Thursday, September 28, the Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi in Venice will host 'La costruzione di un errore,' a conference dedicated to exploring the constructive aspects of mistakes and failures in both personal and artistic contexts. Taking place from 9 am to 7 pm, this gathering marks the finale of the FSE project 'Don't Worry,' DGR 1284, organized by Cescot Veneto with support from the Veneto Region and the Municipality of Venice. Santo Romano, the director of the Human Capital and Culture Area for the Veneto Region, will kick off the event. Notable speakers, including Cesare Pietroiusti and Angela Vettese, will discuss the benefits of failure, while video presentations and a workshop called 'Magnificent Mistakes' will also be featured. The day will conclude with Pipilotti Rist's video, '(Entlastungen) Pipilottis Fehler,' and a catalog summarizing the event will be available at Cescot Veneto in October.
