Venice Biennale 2026: National Pavilions Showcase Transformation and Indigenous Representation
The 2026 Venice Biennale will showcase ten national pavilions that delve into themes of transformation, history, environment, and shared futures. Chiara Camoni's "Con te con tutto," curated by Cecilia Canziani, will be featured in the Italian Pavilion. The Peru Pavilion will highlight "From Other Worlds," curated by Issela Ccoyllo and Matteo Norzi, while the Brazilian Pavilion presents "Comigo ninguém pode," curated by Diane Lima, featuring works by Rosana Paulino and Adriana Varejão. The Bulgarian Pavilion will display "The Federation of Minor Practices," curated by Martina Yordanova. New to the event, the Somalia Pavilion will introduce "SADDEXLEEY," curated by Mohamed Mire and Fabio Scrivanti. The U.S. Pavilion will exhibit Alma Allen's "Call Me the Breeze," curated by Jeffrey Uslip, and the British Pavilion will showcase Lubaina Himid's "Predicting History," curated by Emma Dexter. Yto Barrada's "Comme Saturne," curated by Myriam Ben Salah, will be at the French Pavilion, while the German Pavilion will feature "Ruin," curated by Kathleen Reinhardt. Lastly, the Malta Pavilion will present "No Need to Sparkle," curated by Margerita Pulè. All exhibitions will be open from May 9 to November 22, 2026.
