Venice Biennale 2026: 61st Edition 'In Minor Keys' Opens with 110 Artists
The 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, titled 'In Minor Keys,' kicked off in Venice on May 25, 2026, and will run until November 22, 2026. This exhibition spans the Giardini, Arsenale, and various spots in the city. It features 110 artists, including groups and collectives, and was curated by Koyo Kouoh’s team after her passing in May 2025. Alongside this, there are 100 National Participations showcased in historic pavilions around Venice. A standout piece is JR's modern take on The Wedding at Cana, which has been installed at Palazzo Ca’ da Mosto within The Venice Venice Hotel.
