This timing creates a conflict with Frieze New York's usual summer calendar slot. According to The Art Newspaper, a fair spokesperson indicated dates weren't confirmed, suggesting the commercial event won't compete with the curatorial showcase. Meanwhile, Art Basel has rescheduled its Hong Kong edition to March 13-14, moving it from May. The earlier preview period marks a shift in the international art calendar alignment.
