Venice Apartment Exhibition Questions City as Showcase

In Venice, a new exhibition series titled 'In 2.73 Days' is hosted in a private apartment in Cannaregio, challenging the city's role as a tourist showcase. The title refers to the average 2.73-day tourist stay, contrasting transient visits with dwelling. Curated by Susanna Ravelli and Francesco Perozzi, the first installment 'Abitare il desiderio' runs until May 10. It features works by Renata Boero (two Ctoniografie using natural pigments), Giovanni Gaggia (a fabric piece and ceramic hearts), and Atelier dell'Errore (video 'PINK! is the warmest colour'). The apartment, Casa 2.73, was designed by Bellinato Giacomazzi Architetti as a prototype for a 'resilient resident'. The second appointment is scheduled for June 19-21.
