Artiste venezuelane si uniscono in 'FOUR, AFTER ALL' alla Throughline di Houston
Throughline di Houston presenta 'FOUR, AFTER ALL', una mostra collettiva che riunisce quattro artiste venezuelane: Luisa Duarte, Carolina Otero, Gabriela Gamboa e Toña Vega. La mostra si svolge dal 4 aprile al 3 maggio 2026 e include opere su carta, video, scultura e tecniche miste. Le artiste esplorano memoria, territorio ed energie mutevoli, trattando la materia come testimone e archivio. Duarte, con base a Houston, crea forme geometriche e strutture stratificate; Otero, venezuelano-americana, utilizza disegno automatico e collage guidati dal caso; Gamboa affronta lo spostamento attraverso performance, video e fotografia; Vega incorpora fotografia, collage e mosaico. La mostra fa parte della serie video Five-Minute Tours di Glasstire, con un tour filmato da Beatriz Bellorín e Diana-Sofia Estrada.
