VEDOVAMAZZEI's LRVM Exhibition Across San Marino

exhibition · 2026-04-26

The exhibition LRVM – Libera Repubblica Vedova Mazzei, created by the artistic pair VEDOVAMAZZEI, comprising Simeone Crispino and Stella Scala, will take place in San Marino from March 23 to September 27, under the curation of Giacinto Di Pietrantonio. This event will be hosted across three locations: Torre Guaita, Galleria Nazionale della Repubblica di San Marino, and Galleria Poleschi. At Torre Guaita, visitors can see the installation Appliance, featuring a chair atop a lit bulb, alongside bronze busts Early Works (Scipione Borghese A) and (B) paired with inmate drawings. The Galleria d'arte moderna e contemporanea presents The Notes, which includes San Marino uniform gloves, while Galleria Poleschi offers a retrospective of the duo's work. This initiative is part of SM-Art, which was started by Claudio Poleschi prior to his passing in August 2022.
