Vedovamazzei launches NFT collection on ItaliaNFT platform

ItaliaNFT, a new marketplace for Italian NFTs, launched its first exclusive drop 'Red Shot' by the artist duo Vedovamazzei on March 31, 2022. The collection consists of five NFTs. ItaliaNFT was founded by startup consultant Achille Minerva and stock market analyst Marco Capria, aiming to prioritize Made in Italy characteristics in the virtual market. The platform emphasizes transparency and security of blockchain over copyright values. Vedovamazzei, composed of Stella Scala and Simeone Crispino, created the works by manually cutting and gluing red paint drops on cardboard, then digitizing them into NFTs. The duo, active since 1991, describes their mission as 'changing vision' and staying on the cutting edge while respecting tradition. They see the NFT experience as a synthesis between originarity and originality, where the works become the coincidence of beginning and end. After this debut, ItaliaNFT will present drops by other artists.
