Van Gogh and Glenn Brown exhibitions at Fondation Vincent van Gogh in Arles

The Fondation Vincent van Gogh in Arles presents two concurrent exhibitions: 'Van Gogh in Provence: Modernizing Tradition' and a solo show by British painter Glenn Brown. The Van Gogh exhibition, curated by Sjraar van Heugten, features 31 paintings, 29 of which have never been shown in Arles before, from the collections of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam and the Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo. It covers seven years of the artist's career, culminating in his stay in Provence. This is the third retrospective dedicated to Van Gogh at the foundation, highlighting its commitment to presenting his work in dialogue with contemporary art. The Glenn Brown exhibition runs concurrently.
