Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra Collection Exhibition in Riyadh
Van Cleef & Arpels will present its iconic Alhambra collection at Al Faisaliyah Mall in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 14 to 23 October. The exhibition celebrates the history and craftsmanship of the four-leaf clover motif, which first appeared in the Maison's records in the early 1900s and became a guiding symbol. The original Alhambra long necklace was created in 1968, featuring 20 four-leaf motifs edged with golden beads. Over the decades, the collection has expanded into six variations: Vintage, Magic, Sweet, Lucky, Pure, and Byzantine, each using materials like mother-of-pearl, malachite, carnelian, diamonds, and onyx. Jacques Arpels, nephew of founder Estelle Arpels, famously said, "To be lucky, you have to believe in luck." The Alhambra remains a successful design beloved by clients, celebrities, and royalty.
