Valmont Opens Luxury Residence and Exhibition Space in Venice Palazzo
Valmont Group has opened Résidence Bonvicini, its third luxury residence, in a Venetian palazzo. The residence features three suites, a design salon, and an art workshop with works by Valmont president Didier Guillon. The project emphasizes local craftsmanship and art, with pieces by Venetian artist Leonardo Cimolin and Silvano Rubino. The Fondation Valmont also operates an exhibition space in the same palazzo, currently hosting the group show "Peter Pan. La nécessité du rêve" curated by Luca Berta and Francesca Giubilei, featuring works by Stephanie Blake, Didier and Valentine Guillon, Isao, Silvano Rubino, and Gayle Chong Kwan. The exhibition runs until February 2023. Guillon, who has lived in Venice since early 2022, highlights the importance of local connections, such as meeting Sophie Westerlind through gallerist Michela Rizzo. A new residence in Barcelona is planned for 2023, dedicated to Guillon's son Maxence, with whom he launched the D&M Art Fund to support emerging artists.
