Valerie Hird's Elemental Ascendant exhibition opens at Nohra Haime Gallery

From April 10 to May 2, Nohra Haime Gallery in New York presents Elemental Ascendant, a spring exhibition featuring paintings by Valerie Hird. Her work creates perceptual fields through rhythmic variations and undulating color bands. Translucent veils in the compositions suggest oceanic movement and atmospheric drift simultaneously. Hird constructs environments in constant transformation rather than fixed horizons. Birds in profile appear within yin/yang configurations throughout the paintings. The exhibition revisits Hird's artistic explorations of flux and perceptual ambiguity.
