Valentino Collaborates with Five International Artists for Collezione Milano Campaign
Maison Valentino has partnered with five painters from China, France, Japan, Korea, and the UK for its Valentino Collezione Milano campaign. Each artist was given total creative freedom to incorporate a Valentino Garavani accessory into a new artwork. Louise Giovanelli (UK) painted the Roman Stud Top Handle bag in hyper-realistic style in 'Dominion.' Nahum Kim (Korea) used the same bag for an abstract, poetic work titled 'Roman Stud Space.' Alexis Ralaivo (France) chose the pink version of the bag for 'La Clef,' inspired by Giorgio de Chirico. lori Nagashima (Japan) depicted the Roman Stud Crochet bag against a rain-dark background. Zhang Zihao (China) selected the Crochet sneakers for an untitled diptych. The campaign celebrates the intersection of fashion and art.
