Valentina Guidi Ottobri Blends Art, Ritual, and Interior Design

Valentina Guidi Ottobri, a 38-year-old artist and curator based between Florence and the French Riviera, presented her project 'Architypes – The Initiatic Womb' during Salone del Mobile 2026 in Milan. The immersive installation, created with studio gg-loop, transformed the Fuorisalone into a theatrical space where visitors became participants in a ritualistic journey involving tarot, shamanic drumming, and performance. Guidi Ottobri describes the work as a 'soul cabaret' aimed at inducing a subtle perceptual shift. She uses archetypes, numerology, feng shui, and tarot as design tools to create spaces that resonate with clients' deeper needs. Her practice also includes interior design projects like 'The Baumb House', photographed by Monica Spezia. Guidi Ottobri recently attended the Festa dei Serpari in Cocullo, an ancient Abruzzese ritual.
