Vale's Cultural Institute Opens R$30 Million National Call for Brazilian Cultural Projects
Vale has initiated the seventh edition of its national call through Instituto Cultural Vale, dedicating R$30 million to support cultural initiatives in Brazil under the Federal Law of Cultural Incentive. The application period runs until May 15 on the Instituto Cultural Vale's website. Selected projects will span seven categories: performing arts, humanities, visual arts, music, cultural heritage, museum and memory, and audiovisual. Legal entities in Brazil with established cultural sector activities are eligible to apply. Since 2020, the program has funded 353 projects nationwide, amounting to R$165 million through the Rouanet Law. In 2025, it backed 65 projects across the five regions of Brazil. Grazielle Parenti, Vale's Executive VP of Sustainability, emphasized that this initiative fosters cultural diversity and regional development.
