Valari Studio Restores Apulian Masseria into Contemporary Home

In the countryside of Fasano, Italy, Valari Studio has completed the restoration of Masseria Ficazzella, a historic Apulian farmhouse transformed into a contemporary private residence for a young foreign family. The project, covering 680 square meters, was designed by Nicolò Lewanski, Federica Russo, and Domenico Sasso, with a team including Gianpiero Santoro, surveyor Gianni Menga, and designer Erika Calogiuri. The landscape was designed by Gianni Birardi, and the client is Daniel and Erika Berlind. The property includes 60,000 square meters of gardens and grounds. The restoration balances architectural authenticity with domestic comfort and a close relationship with the surrounding landscape of olive trees and views of the Adriatic Sea.
