V-ZUG's Table Rituals installation at Milan Design Week 2026 blends invisible technology with performative domesticity

architecture-design · 2026-04-20

During Milan Design Week 2026, which ran from April 20 to 25, the Swiss company V-ZUG introduced an intriguing installation called Table Rituals at Piazza San Marco 4 in V-ZUG Studio Milano. This project offers a fresh perspective on the kitchen as a social hub, featuring a striking mineral table that showcases the Integra, V-ZUG's newly launched invisible induction system developed with Inalco. This cutting-edge technology is cleverly embedded within materials to foster a calm, minimalist aesthetic. Architect Elisa Ossino designed the installation, focusing on everyday life as a design principle. The experience is enhanced by Mise en Geste, a choreographed performance by Teatro delle Moire, featuring three performers in textile sculptures by Matteo Idini, blending cooking with movement and sound for a serene atmosphere.
