UVVA Winery by GAM Arquitetos Blends Concrete and Wood in Brazilian Landscape

architecture-design · 2026-04-20

GAM Arquitetos has completed the UVVA Winery in 2021, a 487 m² project inspired by the natural landscape and the existing architecture of Vanja Hertcert, which prominently features concrete and wood. The interior, designed by Anna Fernandes, Guido Ramos, and Marcelo Bezerril, serves as a connecting link, incorporating Brazilian authorial furniture, natural materials, and neutral tones to create a welcoming atmosphere that does not interfere with the original architectural experience. The winery includes automation by Automi, lighting design by Omni Light, acoustics by Audium, and furniture design by Home Design. Photographs are by Denilson Machado – MCA Estúdio.
