UV Lab's ARCADIA: A Timber Installation Reimagines Public Space in Lyon
ARCADIA, a dynamic wooden installation by UV Lab, is set to transform public space at Les SUBS in Lyon from 2025 to 2027. Standing approximately ten meters tall, this modular structure incorporates terraces, balconies, elevated platforms, and circulation paths. Developed in collaboration with students from École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Lyon (ENSBA), the design team includes Khaled Alwarea, Shnsho, Nour Alkhatib, and Samra Bulbol. The project is produced by Les SUBS, situated along the Saône River and near Fourvière hill in Lyon, France.
