Ute Meta Bauer in Conversation with Iwona Blazwick at Afterall
On January 24, 2013, Ute Meta Bauer participated in the first discussion of Afterall's Exhibition Histories series alongside Iwona Blazwick, which examines exhibitions through the lens of curators' experiences. Bauer reflected on three specific exhibitions: her contribution to 'NowHere' at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Humlebæk (1996); 'Architectures of Discourse' at the Fundació Antoni Tàpies in Barcelona (2001); and 'The Future Archive' at n.b.k. Berlin (2012). This series is a joint effort with Whitechapel Gallery in London and forms part of the Exhibition Histories research initiative created by Afterall in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, Bard College's Center for Curatorial Studies, and Van Abbemuseum. The talk is accessible online as video footage.
