UT Permian Basin Seeks Department Chair for Visual and Performing Arts

The University of Texas Permian Basin's College of Arts and Humanities is hiring an Associate Professor or Professor to serve as Department Chair of Visual and Performing Arts. The position is a 9-month contract with a summer stipend, starting salary from $75,000 to $80,000 depending on rank. The chair will provide academic and administrative leadership, including strategic planning, faculty recruitment, curriculum development, and student progress. Required qualifications include a doctoral degree in Art or Music or an MFA in Studio Art, experience in program administration and NASM or NASAD accreditation, and a record of teaching excellence. Preferred qualifications include expertise in Art Education, Music Education, or Musical Theater, and experience with enrollment growth.
